Details of Edmark Double Bonus Marketing Plan -
Network Marketing Compensation
The Edmark Double Bonus Marketing Plan comprises of 2 schemes widely
used in the industry, i.e. The Block System and Point Sharing System.
Through these bonus schemes, distributors will have the advantage to
enjoy the best of both worlds.
Note: Don't worry if you don't understand everything in the
compensation plan breakdown below. Edmark has a brochure that
explains the Plan in more detail with several examples. Most of those
examples I couldn't include here. But when you sign up to the business,
and have a personal brochure that you can regularly reverse, you will
eventually understand everything in the marketing plan.
With Edmark International, distributors have 9 great ways to earn with a
total of 12 business position levels.

Definition of terms Associated With Edmark Compensation Plan:
BV (Bonus Volume) = Product points which are used for bonus calculation.
SV (Sales Volume) = Product points which are used for promotion and
position calculation.
CPS (Current Personal Sales) = Personal Sales for that particular month.
CPGS (Current Personal Group Sales) = Current Personal Group Sales for
the month which include personal sales, assistant managers sales,
supervisors sales, senior members sales, members sales but exclude sales
of downline manager(s).
APGS = Accumulated Personal Group Sales
TGS (Total Group Sales) = The total sales for the whole group which will
include personal sales (applicable for Sapphire Manager and above).

Sales Valued
Personal Sales (PS) - These are all the new member registrations and
product sales you made personally.
Personal Group Sales (PGS) - These are all the new member registrations
and product sales made by you and your downlines.
Current Personal Sales (CPS) - These are all the new member registrations
and product sales you made personally in the current month.
Accumulated Personal Sales (APS) - These are total new member
registrations and product sales you made personally since registration.
Current Personal Group Sales (CPGS) - These are all the new member
registrations and product sales made by you and your downlines in the
current month.
Accumulated Personal Group Sales (APGS) - These are total new member
registrations and product sales made by you and your downlines since
registration.
Note: PS, PGS, CPS, APS, CPGS and APGS are all known as Sales Volume ie
SV in diverse ways. Every new member registration and product sale has a
specific SV point. Typically, the higher the price of the product, the
higher the point.
RETAIL PROFIT 15-25%
A distributor earns retail profit when he/she retails any of the Edmark
products to non Edmark distributors. It is represented by the difference
between the Distributor Price and Customer Price.
The Retailing Profit differs according to the type of product being
marketed.
PERFORMANCE BONUS 20%
Performance Bonus is the total monthly Bonus paid out to all Distributors
based on each Distributor's CPS.
When your APGS is between 1 - 499 SV, you are a Distributor and you’ll
earn 5% commission on every new member registration and product sale
in your CPS.
When your APGS is between 500 - 2499 SV, you are still a Distributor but
you’ll now earn 8% commission on every new member registration and
product sale in your CPS.
When your APGS is between 2500 - 4999 SV, you become a Senior
Distributor and you’ll now earn 11% commission on every new member
registration and product sale in your CPS.
When your APGS is between 5000 - 7999 SV, you are still a Senior
Distributor but you’ll now earn 14% commission on every new member
registration and product sale in your CPS.
When your APGS is between 8000 - 11999 SV, you become a Supervisor
and you’ll now earn 17% commission on every new member registration
and product sale in your CPS.
When your APGS reaches 12000 SV, you finally become an Assistant
Manager or a Manager and earn the full 20% commission on every new
member registration and product sale in your CPS.
Now the difference between a Manager and an Assistant Manager is that
to become a Manager your CPGS must reach 2000 SV and your CPS up to
200 SV in the same month your APGS reaches 12000 SV.
Anything less
makes you an assistant manager instead.
A special condition for being promoted to the Manager level is if you
generate a CPGS of 8000 SV and CPS up to 200 SV in a single month.
Conditions attached to Performance Bonus:
The position and % level
status depends on the Accumulated Personal Group Sales (APGS) only
and is not applicable for promotion to Manager.
Promotion of position is based on the accumulated group sales for the
particular month. It is not transferable or to be postponed to the next
month.
You will enjoy Performance Bonus according to your position based on
current month sales.
In order to enjoy the overriding bonus from the Personal Group Sales, a
distributor must achieve a minimum CPS of 50 SV.
Overriding Bonus - All the Bonuses you have earned up till this time
that you are a Manager is called Performance Bonus. You should notice
how the earning started from 5% at the Distributor level and continue
increasing till it reached 20% at the Manager level. That is where
Overriding Bonus comes in, which permits you to earn not only on your
CPS but also on your CPGS.
E.g. If you are at the Senior Distributor level and earning 11%, you will
also earn the percentage difference on all your downlines currently
earning less than 11%.
CASE 1: Your downline A is at the Distributor level and earns 5%, you as
a Senior Distributor will earn an extra 6% ie 11% - 5% on him/her.
CASE 2: Your downline B is also at the Distributor level and earns 8%,
you as a Senior Distribuor will earn an extra 3% ie 11% - 8% on him/her.
CASE 3: You are at the Supervisor level and earning 17%, you will earn an
extra 6% from your downline who earns 11% as a Senior Distributor ie
17% - 11%.
CASE 4: You are at the Manager level and earning 20%, you will earn an
extra 3% from your downline who earns 17% as a Supervisor i.e 20% -
17%.
Whenever an Overriding Bonus is less than 20%, it continues to an upline
till it reaches the first qualified Manager in line who completes the
maximum performance earning of 20%.
Meanwhile as mentioned above there is a CPS requirement of 50 SV to
qualify for Overriding Bonus.
MANAGER BONUS 14%
In Edmark, the Good Life starts at the Manager level. This is because
from the Manager level, you start sharing from the several Bonuses you
never worked directly for.
As a Manager, you will never be demoted from
your Manager position but will need to maintain a monthly CPGS up to
2000 SV and CPS up to 200 SV to enjoy the Manager Bonus each month.
This manager Bonus is a total of 14% of the company’s BV sales
distributed according to point sharing system among all the Qualifying
Managers every month depending on their Manager level.
An Assistant Manager is not entitled to the Manager Bonus till his/her
CPGS reaches 2000 SV and CPS reaches 200 SV on the same month so he/
she becomes a Manager.
Condition:
Manager bonus is only applicable to distributors of manager
position and above. The qualifying managers must be those from different
lines*.
Explained further below.
The calculation of Manager Bonus Point Value is as follows:
14% multiplied by the total company BV and divided by the points by the
qualifiers.
14% of Total Company’s BV of the month = Point Value
Total BV points of all Qualified Manager’s points
Note: Qualified Manager’s points = Qualified Manager’s BV x Qualified
Manager’s Generation %
Example of Point Value Calculation:
Assuming the month’s Total Company BV is 2,000,000 and total points
earned by Qualified Manager distributors is 400,000 BV. Hence, the value
per point is: (14% x 2,000,000) ÷ 400,000 = 280,000 ÷ 400,000 = DHS 0.07
MANAGERS STATUS QUALIFICATION
Saphire Manager – You become a Saphire Manager the single month you
achieve CPS ≥ 200 SV and CPGS ≥ 2,000 SV. And with at least 1 Qualified
Manager in your network.
Ruby Manager - You become a Ruby Manager the single month you
achieve CPS ≥ 200 SV and CPGS ≥ 1,600 SV. And with at least 2 Qualified
Managers from two different lines under you.
Explanation of Different Lines
Each of your downline starts a new line. So the qualified managers that
will count for you must be from the different personally enrolled
distributor’s lines you’ve created. If you already have a qualified
manager from one line, either it’s your personally enrolled downline or
someone in his or her team, then the next qualified manager that will
count for your Manager bonus and Manager status promotion has to be
from another line.
Emerald Manager - You become an Emerald Manager the single month
you achieve CPS ≥ 200 SV and CPGS ≥ 1,200 SV. And with 3-4 Qualified
Managers from three different lines under you.
Diamond Manager - You become a Diamond Manager the single month
you achieve CPS ≥ 200 SV and CPGS ≥ 800 SV. And with at least 5-6
Qualified Managers from five different lines under you.
Crown Manager - You become a Crown Manager the single month you
achieve CPS ≥ 200. But now you must have at least 7 Qualified Managers
from seven different lines under you.
Note: From the Crown Manager level your CPS of 200 will be sufficient for
your qualification of CPGS ≥ 200. So from Crown Manager upward all you
need to achieve to qualify for all your bonuses is 200 SV. Meaning from
this stage you’re no longer depending on your non-manager distributors
group sales; which also means you don’t have to keep recruiting or sell
products if you don’t want to.
Senior Crown Manager – You need 10-13 Qualified Managers from
different lines under you. Qualifying requirement CPS ≥ 200 SV.
Double Crown Manager - You need to have at least 14 Qualified
Managers from different lines under you. Qualifying requirement CPS ≥
200 SV.
From Crown Manager level upwards, your monthly Bonus qualification
CPGS has moved from 2000 SV at the Manager level down to 200 SV. By
then, your monthly Bonus qualification CPS of 200 SV will take care of
that because CPS also counts in CPGS.
ACHIEVEMENT BONUS 3%
Achievement Bonus is an extra incentive for any manager achieving CPGS
= 5,000 SV.
Achievement Bonus is 3% from total company BV sales.
Although sales from a manager sponsored by you cannot be taken into
account as your CPGS even though the manager is not qualified for any
manager bonus. But Current Personal Sales (CPGS) from Assistant
Manager is part of your CPGS.
LEADERSHIP BONUS 25%
A total monthly Bonus shared among Managers from Saphire Managers
and above who achieve a CPS up to 200 SV and have at least 1 Manager
in their group who achieve a CPGS ≥ 5,000 SV.
However with the Roll Up concept a Saphire Manager with at 200 SV and
have at least 1 manager can still earn Leadership bonus even though no
single one of his/her Managers make a CPGS of 5,000 SV.
The Roll Up concept allows a minimum guarantee SV sum of 5,000 to be
passed on to a sponsor by qualifying mangers on one distributor group.
Say on the given month you as a Saphire manager has CPS of 200, your
personally enrolled distributor, now Manager, had CPGS of 3,200 with a
direct downline and indirect downline making 1,600 and 2,300 CPGS
respectively. Since all the SV are from the same group or line, it will Roll
up from the lowest upwards until a Manager group has the required
amount of at least 5,000 SV. Therefore, the first 2,300 + 1,600 = 3,900
which is still below the required amount. Then it will total upwards
again i.e. 3,900+ 3200 = 7,100 which meets the required amount. You’ll
therefore have a Saphire Leadership Bonus of 7,100.
However if those managers CPGS came from different Manager lines, the
Roll up concept will not apply and you will not be eligible for Leadership
Bonus.
And just like your downlines has to pass a minimum of 5000 SV to you,
you have the same obligation to your Upline. So from the example above
your roll up SV comes to 7,100. Say on that same month your Upline only
made 1,800 CPGS short of 3,200 to qualify for Leadership Bonus, he/she
will have to borrow the balance from you. But you’ll still earn a
Leadership Bonus assuming the example used is the case.
TRAVELING FUND 2%
This is a pool of fund made available for Managers trips.
Qualifying Requirement:
Total Traveling Fund payment is 2% of the total company BV sales.
Qualifying Managers: Ruby and above.
The fund is only to be utilized or redeemed for trips determined by the
company.
The qualifying conditions: Calculation method and travel destinations will
be determined by the company of each campaign. The Traveling fund
cannot be exchanged for cash under any circumstances.
YEAR END BONUS 2%
Year-end bonus of 2% of Total Company BV sales will be allocated
monthly as year-end bonus to all Managers who have achieved the
position of Emerald Manager and above.
Computation period of this
bonus is 1st December up to 30th November of the following year. This
bonus will be calculated every month and will be paid in the November
bonus of the following year.
Managers earn this only on months they Qualify for their Manager
positions.
For example an Emerald Manager who on a given month makes
≤ 200 SV and CPGS ≥1,200 does not qualify as an Emerald Manager that
month and therefore does not earn his Year-end bonus for that month.
CAR FUND 3%
This fund is for Managers to purchase any car of their choice and the
beneficiaries are Diamond Managers and above.
Diamond Managers and above who maintain their required Qualified
numbers of Managers for 3 consecutive months are awarded car funds.
To become a Diamond Manager a person will need to have at least 5
Qualified Managers from different lines as I’ve mentioned above. Now if
this Diamond Manager maintains that number of Qualified Managers for 3
consecutive months he or she qualifies for a Car fund.
But if there are only 4 Qualified Managers in the 3rd month, then the Diamond Manager
will have to start the Car fund qualifying condition all over again; i.e wait
for another 3 months to maintain that number of Qualified Managers.
When you achieve that on the 4th month you would qualify for the Car
Fund. And you can enjoy this continuously even if you are left with only
one Qualified Manager line. However you must qualify yourself according
to the required amount of CPS and CPGS conditions as determined in the
Manager bonus.
Maximum Car Fund that can be enjoyed by a qualifier is DHS 7,000 per
month.
The fund earned will appear in your monthly bonus statement.
HOUSE FUND 2%
This fund is for Managers to purchase any house of their choice and in a
location of their choices. The beneficiaries are Crown Managers and
above.
Maximum House Fund that can be enjoyed by the qualifier is DHS 6,000
per month.
A qualifier is not allowed to use the fund to purchase Low Cost
(subsidized) houses or squatters.
Total House Fund that can be enjoyed by a qualifier is 200% of the initial
purchase price of the house or 240 months (20 years) whichever is earlier.
The total House Fund is calculated based on the Point Sharing System in
accordance to the Manager Bonus distribution up to the 5th level
sponsored managers.
Same condition that applies to the Car fund applies to the House fund.
However you cannot qualify for the Car Fund and House Fund
simultaneously. A distributor must first qualify for the Car Fund before
qualifying for the House Fund.
Conclusion
In Edmark a total of 71% of total company's profit is shared among
distributors on various levels as bonuses and incentives based on Point
Value (PV). And the Bonuses and Incentives have been tailored to cater
for every distributor who grows with the company, taking care of financial,
